Lights Out 6 Continuing Coverage from Sunday

LO6-2Well with another great race in the books, Lights Out 6 definitely had some ups and downs to say the least. With the mid track take off of Dewayne “Big Daddy” Mills all the way down to the finals with Stevie “Fast” Jackson driving the “Shadow” (4.02 @ 191.29 Mph) to victory lane over Christopher Daniels and his new set up. With record-breaking numbers of fans in attendance, and  a new record being set with Ultra set by Joel Greathouse with a shattering 4.84 e.t.@ 147 mph along with his KBX powerhouse.

The X275 winner was also sporting KBX power, Jared Johnston brought home the win with a final run over Patrick Clenney, Johnston and his brand new “White Riot” was not only the winner, but was number one qualifier and was low e.t and high mph of the race. Nitrous X winner Darren Hilterbran coming from the number one qualifying spot as well.

The Leaf Spring class was a huge upset and the win light going the little red truck that could and it driver Jimmy Griner over Ron Rhodes who could not make the call due to mechanical problems.

Last but certainly not least the Outlaw Drag Radial winner was Scott Husted over one of the nicest guys in drag racing Marty Stinnett. Drag Radial Media would like to congratulate all the winners on a great race.

We also like to give a Huge Thank You to Chris Sears for his great photos, if it was not for him none of these updates would have been possible.
